
As we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Con Ganas and The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) has come together to offer Hispanic students at WNMU a scholarship of $500 minimum! Application will be accepted from September 1-12. Scholarships will be awarded at WNMU’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration, September 19th on WNMU Campus in the Intramural Gym, Brancheau Complex. Awardees will be contacted prior to event and must attend the event to receive their award. Review the requirements below to see if you qualify:
Applicants must be:
- First-generation college students
- Of Hispanic or Latin descent
- Maintaining a GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Currently enrolled (part-time or full-time) and planning to enroll next semester
Have economic need
Preference Given To:
– Students from Grant County
– Students with demonstrated community engagement

1. Why you are in college
2. Your economic challenges and how this scholarship will help
3. Your social and community engagement
